I recently completed my PPL checkride with Chris Hartman. I'm very grateful for Chris' flexibility in scheduling. I had to reschedule twice due to the weather this summer, and both times he was incredibly accommodating and was able to give me a new time that was within one week of the previous appointment. It was a fantastic, professional experience, and I absolutely recommend Mr. Hartman to any other pilots looking to take their exams.

I completed my CFI-Initial checkride with Galen a few days ago. The entire experience with Galen, from start to finish was outstanding. When I was looking for a DPE in late spring, he was the only one who reach back out to help schedule me and got me on his schedule immediately. We had multiple reschedules due to weather, maintenance and my readiness and he was immediately accessible and flexible to reschedule. His professional manner and approach made for a calming environment, and I found my checkride to be enjoyable (that does not mean you should not be prepared). He was supportive and engaging and that helped me manage my stress. I cannot recommend Galen highly enough and will definitely have my CFI-I checkride with him when the time comes.
